Java + Bedrock, one server
Minecraft Crossplay Server Hosting
Half the group owns Java, the other half plays Bedrock on a phone or console. Host one server both editions join — Geyser and Floodgate installed with a single toggle, on the same address, verified live from the dashboard.
How crossplay works here
The pieces are the same everywhere — Geyser translates Bedrock to Java, Floodgate handles accounts. The difference is what the host does with them.
One toggle, not a tutorial
Flip Crossplay on in your dashboard and we install the right Geyser build for your server software plus Floodgate, write the config, and restart. No FTP, no YAML.
One address for everyone
Bedrock shares the Java address and port — Java joins over TCP, Bedrock over UDP. You paste one address in the group chat and every edition uses it.
No Java account needed
Floodgate authenticates Bedrock players with their own Microsoft account. Friends on a phone, tablet or console never need to buy Java Edition.
Verified live, not assumed
After install we send a real Bedrock ping to your server and the dashboard keeps checking it. If Bedrock ever stops answering, you see it — most hosts never look.
Works with Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia and friends, plus Fabric and NeoForge. Geyser publishes no build for classic Forge or Quilt, so the toggle stays off there — we'd rather grey it out than pretend.

Crossplay questions, straight answers
Do Bedrock players need a Java account?
No. Floodgate is installed alongside Geyser, so Bedrock players authenticate with their own Microsoft account and join without owning Java Edition.
Does crossplay cost extra?
No. Geyser crossplay is a one-click toggle on the dashboard of every Minecraft plan, from the smallest to the largest.
Do Java and Bedrock players use different addresses?
No — the server is configured so Bedrock shares the Java address and port (Java connects over TCP, Bedrock over UDP). You share one address with everyone.
Which server software supports the crossplay toggle?
The Paper family (Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, Pufferfish and friends) plus Fabric and NeoForge. Geyser does not publish builds for classic Forge or Quilt, so the toggle is unavailable there — that is Geyser’s limitation, not ours.
Can console players (Switch, Xbox, PlayStation) join?
Bedrock on phones, tablets and Windows joins directly by address. Consoles don’t offer a server-address field, so console players use a companion app or DNS workaround to reach external servers — that is a Bedrock platform restriction on every host.
Does crossplay work with big modpacks?
Not meaningfully. Bedrock clients cannot see Java mod content, so heavily modded servers stay Java-only in practice. Crossplay shines on vanilla, Paper + plugins, and light Fabric/NeoForge setups.
