SkyFactory 4
Server Hosting
One tree, one block of dirt, infinite factory — the skyblock classic.
SkyFactory 4 starts your whole group on a single tree over the void and ends with automated everything. Resource trees, sieves, achievement-driven progression and the prestige system make it the definitive co-op skyblock — and because islands are per-team, one server hosts several parallel runs at once. Order here and the pack comes pre-selected, with the 1.12.2-era Forge and Java handled for you.

How much RAM does SkyFactory 4 need?
SkyFactory 4 needs 4GB of server memory to start and runs best on 6GB — the same guidance our checkout enforces, so a plan that can't run the pack can't be bought with it. Every size below carries it; resize anytime and your world moves with you.
4 GB
200% CPU · 30 GB NVMe · 3 backups · 1 DB
Clears the pack's minimum — fine for two or three careful players, with little headroom to spare.

About the pack
What is SkyFactory 4?
SkyFactory 4 is the most successful entry in the genre it defined: skyblock rebuilt around automation. Its signature resource trees grow ores as saplings, so progression runs tree → sieve → machines → full factory, guided by a giant advancement tree and capped by an optional prestige mode that adds replayable meta-progression. Thirteen million downloads later it remains the pack groups return to for “one more island”.
It is inherently multiplayer-shaped: island challenges are more fun raced or shared, and the pack’s team system gives each group its own island on the same server. As a 1.12.2 pack it also needs era-correct Forge and Java server-side — the fiddly part our installer removes entirely.
From our game servers team
Running SkyFactory 4 well
Light on RAM, ideal starter modserver
A void world means near-zero worldgen cost: 4GB starts it, 6GB is comfortable for a group, 8GB covers several busy island teams. It is the cheapest heavyweight-name pack to run properly.
Automation, not exploration, is the load
Late-game islands become dense machines. If tick rate dips months in, the culprit is usually one island’s item pipes — the pack’s built-in profiling (and our console access) finds it quickly, and RAM upgrades are one click.
Use teams for parallel islands
The pack’s island system supports multiple teams on one server, each with their own island and progression. One 6–8GB server comfortably hosts a small community racing separate runs.
The legacy stack is on us
SkyFactory 4 lives on Minecraft 1.12.2, which means old Forge and old Java — the classic self-hosting stumbling block. Provisioning deploys the correct legacy runtime automatically, and it never conflicts with modern packs you might switch to later.
