VerityCraft
Server Hosting

The horror pack built around Verity — every night is something to survive.

VerityCraft wraps the Verity mod in 343 hand-picked horror mods: dense fog, unexplained sounds, encounters that are wrong in ways you can’t quite name. It is built for shared sessions where callouts and split-second decisions matter — which is exactly what a dedicated server is for. We pre-select the pack at checkout and set up Forge 1.20.1 and Java for you.

Sized for the pack

How much RAM does VerityCraft need?

VerityCraft needs 6GB of server memory to start and runs best on 8GB — the same guidance our checkout enforces, so a plan that can't run the pack can't be bought with it. Every size below carries it; resize anytime and your world moves with you.

About the pack

What is VerityCraft?

VerityCraft — “A Realistic Horror Experience with Verity” — is one of 2026’s fastest-growing horror packs, past half a million downloads within months of release. Rather than stacking jumpscares, it layers atmosphere: fog that closes in, ambient audio that stops when it shouldn’t, entities that watch more than they attack. Familiar places stop feeling safe, and ordinary trips — wood, food, a cave run — carry real tension.

The pack ships an official server file and is genuinely better in multiplayer: horror splits the party, and a persistent server means the world (and whatever is in it) keeps existing between sessions. It runs on Forge 1.20.1 with the Verity mod as its centrepiece, and the pack author is explicit that Verity must be configured correctly for events to fire as designed — which our installer handles by deploying the pack’s own server files unmodified.

From our game servers team

Running VerityCraft well

8GB keeps the dread smooth

With 343 mods on Forge 1.20.1, 6GB is the realistic floor and 8GB the comfortable recommendation. Horror timing dies with server lag — a stutter at the wrong moment reads as a bug, not a scare — so don’t starve this one.

Leave the Verity configuration alone

Several of the pack’s events, sounds and mechanics depend on Verity being configured exactly as the pack ships it. We install the official server pack as-published; resist the urge to prune “unused” config files afterwards.

Small groups hit hardest

The pack is tuned for the 2–6 player range — enough people to split up, few enough that nobody feels safe. Whitelist your group in the panel and keep strangers out of the story.

Backups are your save points

Deaths and losses sting more in a hardcore-adjacent pack. Automatic off-server backups run on every plan; take a manual one before big expeditions the same way you’d save before a boss.
