How PS5 players join
Find It by Name, Not by IP
A PS5 has no address box. Your friends search the in-game community server list for the exact server name and enter the password — so the name and the password are the whole setup.
Give the server a name worth searching for
A PS5 finds a Palworld server by searching the community server list, so the name is what your friends type. Choose something distinctive and set it on the Server Settings tab; a generic name is lost among thousands of others.
Add a password
Anyone browsing the list can see the name. The password is the lock. Share the exact server name and the password with your group in one message so nobody is guessing.
Leave PS5 enabled in Crossplay Platforms
Servers we deploy allow Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac from the start. If PS5 has been toggled off under World Settings, switch it back on and restart; a PlayStation cannot join a server that does not list its platform.
Search the exact name on the PS5 and join
Multiplayer, then the dedicated or community server list, search the exact server name, enter the password. Give a server that has just booted a minute or two to show up. There is no address field on PS5, so this list and invites are the only routes in.

What Is Different About PS5
PS5 patches can land on a different day
Palworld updates reach PlayStation on Sony’s schedule, which is not always the same day as Steam. Because the game refuses a join when builds differ, a PS5 player can be locked out of a server that updated with its PC players until the PlayStation patch arrives. Our console shows the server’s build so you can tell which side is waiting.
Consoles cannot enter an IP
There is no address box on PS5. The community server list and invites are the only ways to join, which is why the name and password are the first two steps above. PC players on the same server can still connect directly by IP if they want to.
The server runs on our hardware, not a PS5
A PlayStation cannot host a dedicated server. What you rent is a Palworld dedicated server on our PCs that stays online when every console in the group is off, with backups and restarts handled from the dashboard.
