The Biggest BeamMP Mod Library Update We've Done: 21 New Mods
We rebuilt the mod library around one question: what do people actually install?
To answer it we ranked every vehicle and map on the BeamNG repository by real download count, then checked that list against what we already offered. Twenty-nine of the top sixty vehicles were already there. The gaps were the interesting part — cars with three-quarters of a million downloads and 4.9-star ratings that simply weren't on the shelf.
So we added them. Eleven cars, six maps, and four server plugins are live now, and while we were in there we brought eighteen existing mods up to their current versions. Everything installs in one click from the Mods tab on your panel.
The Cars
We filtered for one thing beyond popularity: does it actually work in multiplayer? Some of the most-downloaded mods on the repository are single-player novelties — a crash test dummy, a couple of aircraft, trailer packs, a forklift. Great fun alone, disappointing on a server with ten people waiting to race. We skipped those and took the highest-rated things people genuinely drive together.

Ibishu Saga by Kueso is the pick of the batch — 805,000 downloads at 4.93 stars from 165 ratings, which is about as close to universal approval as this community gets.

TAZ Pack by RyanCookie is a whole set rather than a single car — 835,000 downloads at 4.91 stars, and the best value-per-megabyte on the list if you want to widen what your regulars can drive without installing eight separate mods.

Ibishu Serenity by Nekkit rounds out the Ibishu additions at 4.88 stars.
Also added: 1995 Ibishu Kashira Gen 2 (4.92★), Ibishu CrossSport (4.85★), Bruckell Firehawk V12, ’92–’99 Hirochi Talent (4.90★), Bitron B2, the Gavril D-Series addon by AR162b (4.79★), Bruckell Caldera, and the ’92–’98 Arima Monica ELDY / Celina EXiA (4.88★).
The Maps

Matrix Freeway is the one to install first if your server is a cruising server. It's a long, clean freeway, it's only 19 MB, and it does exactly one thing well: give a group of people somewhere to drive together without anyone getting lost.

Sandy Mountain by Nadeox1 is the off-road pick at 4.90 stars — proper terrain for convoys and crawling.

Utah Extra by DrowsySam expands the Utah terrain considerably, at 4.78 stars.

Mega Ramp is the highest-rated map in the whole batch at 4.95 stars, and it needs no explanation whatsoever.
Also added: Somerset, UK (4.69★, British country roads) and Death Fall (4.85★).
Four Server Plugins
Server-side is a smaller world than most people expect. We swept every BeamMP plugin on GitHub by stars, and the honest summary is that the popular ones were already in our library — Nickel, BeamJoy, Cobalt Essentials, freeRoamMP, PropHunt, CarHunt, Cops and Robbers. Below those, nothing has more than a handful of stars. These four are the ones left that add real gameplay:
| Plugin | What it does | Author |
|---|---|---|
| Event Tools | Freeze, unfreeze and teleport players — marshal a race lobby | rendoXX |
| Stop Light | Synchronised drag-race start lights everyone sees at once | jurbinbot |
| Sudden Death | One mistake and you're out, last car running wins | FreddeFuran |
| Speed Camera | Speed traps that flag drivers — good for roleplay servers | FreddeFuran |
Stop Light is the quietly useful one. If you run drag races, a start that everyone sees at the same instant is the difference between a real race and a guessing contest.
We Also Updated Eighteen Existing Mods
Less exciting than new toys, but it probably matters more. A lot of the library was pinned to whatever version was current when we first added it, and mods move on. Eighteen are now on their current upstream releases, including several of the most-installed things we offer — Carbonworks F4, Texas USA, the 1994 ETK K-Series, the 2020 Hirochi CCF, Motorsports Playground and Polish Roads among them.
If you already have one of these installed, reinstall it from the Mods tab to pick up the newer version.
How to Install
- Open your server in the panel and go to the Mods tab.
- Everything from this drop is tagged New — hit Install.
- Restart the server when it finishes.
We upload client mods into Resources/Client so they're pushed to every player who joins, extract server plugins into Resources/Server, and for maps we set the level automatically. No FTP, no zip wrangling, no config editing.
One thing worth remembering: BeamMP reads its mod list only when the server boots. Install while the server is running and your players won't get the files until you restart it.
Credit Where It's Due
Every mod above is the work of a community author, and each name links to their original resource page or repository. If a mod makes your server better, that page is where to say thank you and where to report bugs — not to us.
