Palworld Server Regions & Moving Between Them

Where your server physically lives decides the ping you and your friends get. Here's which regions we offer for Palworld, how to pick, and how a move works.

Available Regions

Palworld servers run in six regions:

  • US East (Virginia) — best for the US East Coast and workable for South America.
  • US Central (Dallas) — best for the central US and a good middle ground coast-to-coast.
  • Canada (Montreal) — best for Canada and the northern US.
  • EU (Frankfurt) — best for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
  • Nordics (Helsinki) — best for Scandinavia, Finland and the Baltics.
  • Australia (Sydney) — best for Australia and New Zealand; see Palworld server hosting in Australia.

If most of your group is elsewhere in Asia, pick whichever of Sydney or Frankfurt pings lower for the majority.

Picking the Right One

Choose the region closest to most of your players, not just yourself. A host in the US with a mostly-EU group should sit the server in Frankfurt — the host can take slightly higher ping more comfortably than five other people can.

Moving Your Server

Changed your mind, or your group's centre of gravity shifted? You can request a region move and we'll relocate the server and its world save.

Before you request a move, take a manual backup from the Backups tab. Region moves copy your files, and a backup is your safety net if anything goes wrong in transit.

Why a Move Might Fail (and Revert)

A transfer needs room at the destination. If the target region is temporarily short on space, the move can fail partway and automatically revert your server to where it started — running, intact, but not moved. That's the system protecting your data, not losing it.

If a move reverts and you're not sure why, don't keep retrying — contact support and we'll place it for you.

After a Move

Once relocated, your IP and port change. Grab the new IP:port from the top of your panel and share it with your group — the old address won't work anymore. Everything else — world, Pals, settings — comes with it.

Worried about your save during a move? Read backups & saves first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Palworld region should I choose?

Pick the one closest to most of your players — US East, US Central or Canada for the Americas, Frankfurt or Helsinki for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Sydney for Australia and New Zealand. Optimise for the group, not just the host.

Will moving my Palworld server wipe my world?

No. A region move brings your world, Pals and settings along. Take a manual backup first anyway, since a failed transfer auto-reverts to where it started.

Does my server IP change after a region move?

Yes — you'll get a new IP:port. Grab it from the top of your panel and re-share it with your group; the old address stops working.
