Frankfurt is our central European region and the natural home for crews in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland and Czechia. It is one of the best-connected internet exchanges on the continent, which is why a mixed European group usually gets the most even experience here.
Valheim runs its world simulation on the server, so everyone feels the distance to it: sailing, combat timing and building snap all get worse as the round trip grows. For a group spread across several EU countries, a central location beats any one player hosting from home — and the server stays up when that player logs off.
Every server runs the official Valheim 1.0 dedicated server with the Deep North, updates itself from Steam on restart, and can load the world you have already started. If most of your players are in the Nordics, look at Helsinki; if they are in the UK, London.
Everything included with the server — the dashboard, backups, world upload and how each platform joins — is on the main Valheim server hosting page.
All plans include DDoS protection, automatic backups, and 24/7 support
Yes. Checkout prices and bills in EUR for customers in the eurozone, by card or PayPal, monthly or quarterly, with no setup fee.
Yes. Crossplay is switched on by default on every Connect Valheim server, wherever it is hosted. Each time the server boots it prints a six-digit join code in your dashboard; console players type that code on the Join Game screen, and Steam players can use the code or connect by IP and port. The code changes on every restart, so share the newest one.
Choose the region closest to where most of your players live: London for the UK and Ireland, Helsinki for Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Baltics, Frankfurt for everywhere in between. If you get it wrong, we can move the server for you.
