Valheim Server Hosting in Australia (Sydney)
Enterprise-grade infrastructure • Instant provisioning
Distance hurts more in Australia and New Zealand than anywhere else we host: a server in the US or Europe is a very long round trip from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Auckland, and Valheim makes you feel all of it. Our Sydney region keeps the server on your side of the Pacific.
Valheim simulates the world on the server, so that round trip becomes rubber-banding at sea, enemies that hit before they swing, and building pieces that snap late. A local data-centre server fixes that for the whole crew at once — and unlike a friend hosting from home, it is online around the clock with DDoS protection in front of it.
Every server runs the official Valheim 1.0 dedicated server with the Deep North, updates itself from Steam on restart, and can load the world you have already started.
Everything included with the server — the dashboard, backups, world upload and how each platform joins — is on the main Valheim server hosting page.

Valheim hosting in Sydney, Australia: common questions
Can PlayStation 5, Xbox and Switch 2 friends join?
Yes. Crossplay is switched on by default on every Connect Valheim server, wherever it is hosted. Each time the server boots it prints a six-digit join code in your dashboard; console players type that code on the Join Game screen, and Steam players can use the code or connect by IP and port. The code changes on every restart, so share the newest one.
Is Sydney a good fit for New Zealand players?
Yes — Sydney is the closest region we offer to New Zealand, and a far shorter trip than any US or European location.
How many players can join a Valheim server?
Ten — that is Valheim’s own limit, set by Iron Gate, on every host. All ten seats are included on every plan; plan size decides how smoothly a big, long-running world performs, not how many friends can join.
