Valheim Server Hosting in the USA (US East, Virginia)
US East is our busiest Valheim region. The servers sit in Northern Virginia, the densest internet hub in North America, and suit crews anywhere from the East Coast through the Midwest and the South. It is also the usual pick for a group split between the US and western Europe, because it sits between them.
Valheim simulates the world on the server, so every player feels the distance to it — most obviously on boats, in combat timing and when building pieces snap late. A data-centre server in the middle of your group evens that out, and it stays online when the friend who used to host goes to bed.
Every server runs the official Valheim 1.0 dedicated server with the Deep North, updates itself from Steam on restart, and can load the world you have already started. Players in Texas and the central states can also choose our Dallas region at checkout.

Can PlayStation 5, Xbox and Switch 2 friends join?
Yes. Crossplay is switched on by default on every Connect Valheim server, wherever it is hosted. Each time the server boots it prints a six-digit join code in your dashboard; console players type that code on the Join Game screen, and Steam players can use the code or connect by IP and port. The code changes on every restart, so share the newest one.
Which US region should I choose?
US East (Virginia) for the East Coast, Midwest and South-East; Dallas for Texas and the central states. Both are offered at checkout. If your crew is split coast to coast, pick the side with more players — and if it does not feel right, we can move the server.
How many players can join a Valheim server?
Ten — that is Valheim’s own limit, set by Iron Gate, on every host. All ten seats are included on every plan; plan size decides how smoothly a big, long-running world performs, not how many friends can join.
