Sized for the pack

How much RAM does Cobbleverse need?

Cobbleverse needs 8GB of server memory to start and runs best on 10GB — the same guidance our checkout enforces, so a plan that can't run the pack can't be bought with it. Every size below carries it; resize anytime and your world moves with you.

300% CPU · 60 GB NVMe · 3 backups · 1 DB

Clears the pack's minimum — fine for two or three careful players, with little headroom to spare.

About the pack

What is Cobbleverse?

Where vanilla Cobblemon hands you creatures and leaves the rest to sandbox survival, Cobbleverse builds the game around them. Custom villages come with Pokémon Centers and Poké Marts, gym buildings for Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh wait with badge rewards, legendary towers hide the birds, and progression runs all the way to league challenges. Nearly twelve million downloads across Modrinth and CurseForge have made it the definitive adventure-flavoured Cobblemon pack.

It is also built to be shared. The journey structure gives a group something singleplayer can’t: rival trainers under one roof. Everyone works the same region map, races to badges at their own pace, and meets in the world the server keeps alive between sessions — no pausing, no “whose save is this”, no handing your progress to whoever hosts tonight.

From our game servers team

Running Cobbleverse well

Size for the adventure, not the floor

The pack authors put the multiplayer floor at 6GB; sell yourself short there and busy evenings will show it. We gate checkout at 8GB and recommend 10GB — structure generation plus a world full of persistent creatures is exactly the load that punishes thin memory.

Fabric keeps it nimble

Cobbleverse runs Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.1, which starts faster and ticks lighter than the heavyweight loaders. Restarts land in well under a minute once the world exists — worth knowing before you schedule nightly reboots.

Protect badge progress with backups

Gym badges, league runs and a filled Pokédex represent weeks of group effort stored in one world folder. Scheduled off-server backups run on every plan; take an extra manual snapshot before big events like a league night.

Keep client and server in lockstep

The pack updates as Cobblemon evolves, and a mismatched client is the most common “can’t connect” on any modded server. Update the server from the panel — backup first, one click — then have everyone refresh the pack in their launcher.
